War On Women is a co-ed, feminist punk act from Baltimore, MD, tackling issues of institutionalized sexism and patriarchy through an uproarious blend of riot grrrl, thrash, and rock with sarcastic dalliances and furious aggression on their self-titled, first full-length. Following up 2012's "Improvised Weapons" EP on Exotic Fever Records (Des Ark, Pygmy Lush), the band capitalize on their expressive, theatrical live performances with an invigorating and inspired record. This is a band you don't want to sleep on; they have gotten approval from punk royalty both old-school (tours with Canadian legends Propaghandi) and contemporary (Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace).
